Joëlla Albers
Director - Senior Finance and ESG consultant
With 16 years of experience in diverse roles Joëlla is a hands-on finance consultant that has specialized in IFRS and ESRS implementation projects.
Currently she is engaged as a senior financial consultant at a.s.r. Nederland for the integrated financial reporting team.
Next to this, she is a PhD candidate at Nyenrode, exploring the effects of sustainability reporting over time.

Carolien Boeijink
Junior Finance and ESG consultant
A junior consultant with several years of experience in the insurance sector and hands-on experience in sustainability reporting through a challenging internship at an international bank.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and has recently completed Alex van Groningen's CSRD Advanced course. She possesses the certificates of The Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht - Wft) basis & adviseur schadeverzekering particulier.
Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Our
Name
Arana --> what's in a name...
The name comes from the Spanish word 'spider' Araña. In the days before the official notary's appointment I was doubting about a name that would fit my working style and my interests in financial reporting processes.
Talking with a colleague about 'spirit animals' the Spider came along...
Luckily he did not mention a cat or worse...
I decided to lose the ñ since nobody is going to remember that.
It suits our working style since we act as a intermediary between different teams and tasks and are connectors in complex financial problems and novel implementation projects.
